Why does Excel 2007 always run config on open?
I'm running Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 and when I open an Excel spreadsheet it always pops up a window like you're using the program for the first time which first says "Please wait while Setup prepares the necessary files..." then quickly says "Configuring Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007..." This process takes about a minute or two to complete every time I open an .XLS document from the explorer. It doesn't happen with Microsoft Word, only Excel.
Anybody know why this might be happening and what I can do about it?
Thanks.
That's a problem I'd call or write Microsoft about. That could be a very simple fix or a very complex one.

How do i subtract time in MS xl sheet?
I want to subtract 1 min from the difference of two times say for eg the two times are 16:00:00 and 16:00:50, their difference is 50 sec.So, 50sec- 1 min = -50 sec should be the answer. My problem is that I am not able to get negative time in xls and not able to write 1 min in time format. Please Help...!
Excel displays any negative time values as ######.
You might try changing the column where the result shows up to a standard number format and see if that gives you the result you want.
