hello people who opened this. sum of u may have heard about the clique book series and i just finished "sealed with d a diss" and i am desperate to find out wat happens next. i freaken checked my locals library(s) and evrythign .its in bookstores and no1 can take me there! !!!! sooo i was wondering if sumone could send me a link to the first chapter of "bratfest at tiffany's" i tried searching myself but i just found "dylans summers" first chapter not bratfest at tiffanys.
plz help me send a link or tell me wat happens! pleas help! please with a cherry ontop!

Okay, one the first post is what a fan wrote. It is nawt the actual first chapter of bratfest.

And the first chapter doesn't tell you much. Basically in this book, the girls are reunited after summer vacation, and Claire actually has style now! And Massie is finding that she has to fight to keep her place on top after boys have invaded the school, so she announces a boyfast to the Pretty Committe, and gives them tiffany's charm bracelets to confirm it. Cam has a new girlfriend, OIivia [Alicia's ex-BFF] and in health class they have to care for babies and Claire is assigned to be their step mom. Massie announces a boy fast, but Alicia still is crushing and talking to Josh. So, they create a plan and Massie, Claire, Dylan and Kristen have to be sent to overflow facilities because OCD is too crowded. The facilities are really just dirty trailers. [This is where she meets her new crush though, Dempsey Solomon, but can't pursue it because he used to be an LBR and because of the boyfast] When Massie is embarassed on the news, but sees Alicia dissing her and flirting with Josh on the same news program, Alicia is kicked out of the Pretty Committee. After that, Massie is able to completely transform their dirty trailers into ah-dorable Tiffany boxes. And soon, Alicia is missing her place and Massie's "beta" and parents are complaining that their kids aren't in the trailers. So a contest is held to determine who can stay in them, and Alicia, as OCD's broadcaster, is announcing the results. She decides she misses Massie and goes to apologize, and is humiliated, but asks again, and Massie tells her to get rid of the boys. So, when Alicia goes to read the results, she says Derrick Harrington, Josh Hotz, Chris Plovert, Kemp Hurley, Cam Fisher, and Dempsey Solomon won their place in the trailers. Which is impossible because they didn't even enter. So after that, Massie and Alicia are BFFs again. Then Cam and Claire see eachother and talk for the first time since their breakup and Cam sending her a message saying her dumped Olivia and wants her back. So Massie takes all their bracelets and gets rid of them and calls off the boyfast! The book ends with LBRs complimenting Massie and her feeling good about the rest of eighth grade.

If these current economic times have caused you to cut back on your grocery budget, try this inexpensive meal of Salmon Hash, Tomato Cucumber Salad, and Easy Chocolate Cherry Dessert.  This meal is quick, inexpensive, and tastes good, too.  All of these recipes are diabetic friendly but if you don't have a diabetic in you family or group of friends, you can easily change the dessert to a regular one by using regular items in place of the sugar-free items listed.  However, the no-sugar-added cherry pie filling and the 1/2 the sugar cake mix is really better for anyone.

SALMON HASH

1 can (15 1/2-oz) can red salmon, drained

2 cups finely chopped peeled potatoes

2 tbsp butter

3 green onions, finely chopped

1/8 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp lemon zest, optional

Remove and discard skin and bones from salmon; flake salmon with a fork and set aside.  Saute potatoes in butter in a large skillet for 15 minutes or until tender.  Remove potatoes from skillet and set aside.  Add green onions to skillet and saute 2 to 3 minutes; stir in the pepper and lemon zest, if using.  Add potatoes and salmon to skillet and cook over medium heat, without stirring, until thoroughly heated.

TOMATO CUCUMBER

3 medium tomatoes, sliced

1 small cucumber, thinly sliced

1 green onion, chopped

3 tbsp Italian salad dressing

1 tbsp vinegar

1 tsp chopped fresh basil OR 1/4 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp salt, optional

dash of black pepper

dash of garlic salt

In a serving dish. layer half the tomatoes, all the cucumber, and then the remaining tomatoes.  Sprinkle with the onion.  Combine the salad dressing, vinegar, basil, salt, pepper, and garlic salt in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.  Shake jar well to blend the ingredients.  Pour over the salad.  Cover and chill at least a half hour or until serving time.

EASY CHOCOLATE CHERRY DESSERT

1 can no-sugar-added cherry pie filling

1/2 box 1/2 the sugar chocolate cake mix

1 stick butter

1/4 cup slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spray an 8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.  Pour the pie filling into the prepared pan.  Sprinkle the cake mix over the pie filling.  (Seal the remaining half of the cake mix in a zip-top plastic bag and save for another use or to make this recipe again later.)  Dot cake mix with the butter and sprinkle the almonds over the top.  Bake at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes or until cake is done.

Yield: 9 servings
