Screw Pitch

How to make a screw nut replacement if cannot find a fit-sized screw nut.?
I actually have a screw in size 5mm diameter, but screw pitch size is smaller than standard 0.8mm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_261#Preferred_sizes
I can't find a nut replacement for this screw bolt to tight my component on box.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks a lot.
You can do any of the following steps, in order of practicality:
1) establish the exact diameter and pitch (probably a non-metric one) and search a catalog of a well-stocked fastener vendor or
2) replace both bolt and nut for the closest common dia-pitch combination or
3) after finding out the dia and pitch, have a workshop machine one - this is pure theory and might turn out quite expensive or
4) make one yourself, but you need the right hand tool and some ability with it or
5) produce one by moulding a batch of two-component epoxy resin on the bolt. Apply some light oil on the threads to prevent seizing. After curing, unscrew and file away excess material. It will do for moderate torque.

the Rangers don't beleive in getting quality pitchers and they dont develop the ones they have in their farm system. Sosa blows as far as i am concerned and I am happy that the OKC fans booed him while he was there. the rangers as usual will not do anything….unless doing something means ending in the middle of the pack instead of at the bottom.

what is the max step rate using the Arduino.
for one axis to move at 100ipm with a lead-screw pitch of 5tpi and using a driver in 8th step it would require a pulse train of ~13khz. (100*5*200*8)/60
200 steps per revolution stepper motor
a fpga would be much faster despite the increced complexity
