i already have a model airplane but i need more
Sneakers. He always wore sneakers, even with his suits. Never dress shoes. If you're presenting this as if you are Hughes, be sure to be very, very, clean. Get a bottle of milk (if you can find a glass one, if not, use a glass soda) and open it with a handkerchief. Handle doorknobs and such with your handkerchief. Huges was very concerned with germs. Also, he had a problem with exact speech. He was know to correct minute details of someones speaking. He'd say "It just doesn't sound right." and proceed to suggest repeatedly to you how to pronounce a word. You might mention his development of hearing aids, a long working project to help him get around his hearing loss. If you have time, get out to a smaller public airport in your area and ask around for any old aircraft parts or instruments you can use. Again, if you're acting the part, carry it in and apologise for the clutter. Explain how you're trying to improve the design. Maybe stop in the middle to look at the parts or your model airplane and make some notes. Be a liittle nervous too, but not too much. Anyway, it's said he was often carrying some notes, a blueprint or some little piece of his work. Good luck on your project!
