problems with a nitro rc car?

i brought a petrol rc car and i was wondering what happen if u were driving it and the remote was dead would the car keep going or stall
because it has happen it hit the gudder at about 60 k and i was only maybe 15 meters a way and the steering the brakes would not work or could there be a manufactore fault
or what happens if it goes out of range and what range do they have

If it goes out of range, or the batteries in the receiver actually in the car fail, the chances are it will keep going at the same speed it was going before the problem occurred.
You can buy failsafe devices that fit between the receiver batteries and the receiver, this lets you choose a safe position for the throttle to return to if it goes out of range. So to be on the safe side it's best to set it to engage the brakes.

If you couldn't control the car at all, it was out of range. Which is strange if you were only 15 metres away. The normal range is around 100 meters and slightly further. Always make sure the antenna on the handset is extended fully, and don't cut the antenna on the receiver no matter how long it is. Also check to make sure the crystals are secure and there is nothing around you that could interfere with your radio.
