What is the wash-out rate for Marine Corps OCS?
I hear it is 33 percent...I believe it, but I wonder what the breakdown is. What percentage would you say got "cut" or asked to leave because of leadership skills or academics? I would think that the PT part is not as big of an issue (as far as being asked to leave) because you need to be in good shape just to qualify. I am trying to get in, but they will have to drag me out of Quantico if they want me to leave. Is some of this large number of dropouts college kids who don't come back for the second six weeks? I guess my real concern is what is the failure/washout rate and breakdowns for the 10 week OCC?
I don't know what the exact rate is, but I know that a lot are cut for injuries, and then they return later. OCC is a lot more physical than boot camp, so there are a lot more stress fractures and things like that. As far as the academic stuff goes, I would think that, by far, most candidates who wash out do so for physical injuries. If you want to know exactly, I'll let you know this August when I'm done.

MS Paint help please?
Okay, MS Paint is the same as Microsoft paint, right? Okay, how do I re-download it? I'm trying to wash out a certain part of the image, but when I right click it like the tutorial said to, it didn't show the option of washout, so I think I have an older version, and now I want to re-download it/update it. What do I do and how do I do it? Thank you so much.
Actually you can do some cool things with MS Paint, but i got photoshop and it did exactly what i wanted.
MS Paint is a small tool and it wont be better for editing pictures..
it is useful only for converting files to standard formats..and scribble for childs..for editing pics use photoshop,coreldraw,dreamweaver,image ready or any other softwares like this..
