Parts Upgrade
Is it better to upgrade the parts in my computer or buy a new one?
Is it more cost effective to upgrade or should I just save the risk and buy a new one?
There have been a lot of advances in the techonology used in the last 3 or 4 years. I just had to buy a new motherboard for my Aunt's computer which is only 3 years old and had a hell of a time trying to find one that would work with all the older CPUs and RAM and whatnot.
Anything you buy for an upgrade will most likely not be compatible with anything you currently have. However my preference is to build my own, so you could also start buying parts and when you have everything put it together. That way you don't have to pay for it all at once.
