why would a black lab growl and nip when you touch him with your feet?
Our black lab is very sweet and mild mannered. He enjoys playing with our other two dogs, a boxer and a bishon. He loves to snuggle. However, touch him with your feet, and beware. He has bitten a couple times, never breaking the skin. He ALWAYS growls, jumps up, and moves away.
It sounds like someone has kicked the dog in the past.
Here's an idea, it may sound silly: Try balancing a treat he really likes on top of your foot. Then slowly put your foot out towards the dog, saying "good boy" the whole time, until he sees the treat and takes it. Repeat this often, working up to the point where you can slightly touch his front paws or something with the treat on your foot. He will learn that having your feet near him is a good thing.

I never seen the tv show Nip Tuck. But is it true that there is profanity and nudity in this television show?
I can't recall any profanity off the top of my head - if there is any, it doesn't stand out. There is some nudity, in the sense that you will sometimes catch a glimpse of a buttock or a second of nudity from the back - I'd say it's about the same level as other TV shows that air at 10:00PM and deal with mature themes. The surgery scenes are what stand out to me - they can be incredibly gory. Admittedly that's part of the point and the theme of the show, to show the extremes people will go to in the pursuit of perfection, and the ugliness underlying the beauty. Still, it can get intense.
