Mini Jet

Who was the best of the original Transformers?

I'm only talking about the six mini-cars, the five cassettes, the fourteen medium cars, the three jets, Optimus, Soundwave, and Megatron.

I'll put in my own favourite Autobot, and Decepticon when I rate the best answer.

Is it possible to make a small-scale jet engine that only uses electricity?

I want to make a mini jet engine to put on a R/C car but i only want to have the blades compress the air. So no fuel is actually injected into the model. Will the engine work with only the pressure of the blades of the blades or do i need to inject fuel and ignite it?
I plan to power the blades with a 12 volt slot car motor.

It might be be if you can think of it. Jet engines are gas turbines which means the suck in air, compress it and then direct that parcell of compressed air into a burner and atomize it with kerosine. The flam is always burning and the expanded temprature helps ignite the air fuel spray which expands even further and at a higher presure than the out side air it moves through more turbine wheels on its way to the exhaust pipe, the turbine wheels turn the intake fans which suck in more air. The engine speed (RPM) is controlled by the power control lever which governs the amount of fuel to air ration.
Think about the use of electrity though you may find another form of energin to make it work with the force and power output. Dave
