whats the main character's name on gears of war for 360.?

if master cheif and this guy fought in hang em high from halo who would be the winner?

I think it would be master cheif!

The main character is Marcus Fenix
Jon-117 is a lot better than Marcus. He has years of field experience. (his field exp. started at about the age of 6) he has State of the Art amour that four-folds his strength. He could bench over 300 pounds after the Augmentations (happened at the age of 14 or 15). The armor provides a shield that recharges (ever one knows) he has lightning fast reflexes, so fast that not even that the automatic guns best targeting system could track them. Even without his armor on he still can move faster than the targeting systems. Can take a huge amount of pain and can still fight. Some of the other surviving Spartan IIs had internal bleeding and broken bones and fight like they aren't hurt. He can see in the dark without night vision, and the Spartans hearing is so good they can hear a pin drop in desert sand. Bungie minimizes just about every ability Master Chief has. If he had those kind of movements in the game it wouldn't be fun because you couldn't kill anything since he moves so fast. He has also overcome impossible odds but then again Spartans can do the impossible.

Marcus Fenix- Has combat experience, and combat skills, plus he has overcome big odds but has done it with his squad.

In the end...
Master Chief would destroy Marcus Fenix without even breaking a sweat. He completes Marcus in everything by more than ten fold.

what is the purpose of aircraft main gear actuator vent hole?

I was thinking of my basic landing gear but too lazy to get my training manuals so i rely on my knowledge, I don't recall any hole in any actuator perhaps a vent line but not a hole otherwise fluid or air would leak out. As any actuator there are two ports in it 1. is the head end and the 2. is the rod end. from this if you want to extend the rod the pressure is put in the head end port in order to push the rod but the pressure remaining in the rod end would prevent it so the rod end port becomes the return line, and now the rod extend freely this is where your vent hole or line comes in it's main purpose is to prevent a sudden full extension of the rod by slowly venting or unventing so that extension or retraction is smooth but slow. that is always the purpose of a vent hole but in actuality it is a line like I said before you don't want hydraulic fluid coming out during extension/retraction then re-servicing after.
Actually it is a pressure dampener so pressure surging is eliminated you don't want to see any actuator jerking in its extension or retraction cycle.
