which airplanes are harder to fly, jet planes or one that have propellors?

Vincent: Your 27 years as an aircraft designer is one thing, but what experience do you have flying props and jets and what pilot certificates and ratings do you hold? Anyway, I've got over 30 years of pilot experience including jets and props, and a couple of non-aviation academic degrees. Honestly, in a single engine, fixed gear, unpressurized piston prop there isn't much for the pilot to do. The checklists in jets are way longer and more involved, the systems way more complex. Some tail-mounted twin-jets require a LOT of rudder to hold heading if one fails, but they do climb (climb well, even) under most conditions. (Light piston twins can have serious shortcomings in this department. Don't know if that makes them "harder" to fly. Less safe, perhaps.) What can make piston flying more problematic is the limited altitude capability, for one thing. Anyway, my suggestion is to accumulate experience flying both and form your own opinions. Props cover a very broad spectrum from light sport to four engine beasts. Some props probably are "harder" to fly, but not because of prop controls or magnetos.
Also, Vincent, I am not commenting on the Q400 or the CRJ200----I don't fly either. But, as a designer, you should know that weight is the principal measure in aircraft comparison, not the maximum number of sardines, I mean, "passengers", that can possibly be piled into the cabin. For example, the BBJ is an 18-seat version of the 737-700. And many "large cabin" business jets weigh about the same as a fully-loaded Q400, but accommodate around a dozen passengers. Actually, sardine-cramming is not something to boast about.

Like the airplanes, fighter jets, and such, where they are held for storage, what is it called?

"Plane garage" sounds stupid to me. lol

it's either a "hanger" or like at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in AZ a Bone yard (that is for long term storage of planes that cost too much to keep on active duty it's cheaper to store them and then pull them out for active duty or for parts)
