Helicopter Motor
My new R/c helicopter has problems?
My r/c coaxial helicopter has some problems. I start the throttle up and the motor and axials start like it is supposed to, but then the actual helcopter starts spinning too. I'm not sure how to fix this.It is werid because the whole helicopter spins. I heard it maybe becuase the the motors have to spin at the same rate. Is this true? My rc helicopter is a easycopter xs metal 2.4Ghz .
Well.. lets not take the other guy's advice yet... You could take it back to get it warrantied once you can't fix the problem.
Your helicopter is a co-axial helicopter. One blade on top, and one on the bottom. Both blades should spin at about the same speed in order for the helicopter to be stable and pointing in one direction. If the helicopter is spinning out of control, I would suggest checking the following :
Are the blades opposite? i.e. the top blades are not the same as the bottom ones and vice versa?
Did you plug in the motors backwards?
Did you try reading the manual to see if there is a troubleshooting for this?

I want to build a remote controlled helicopter and i wanted to know....?
What do i need to make a helicopter from scratch, for my physics class. Also where can I get the stuff to create a very fast helicopter maybe installing two motors or how to install them. Thank you...
I believe that you are underestimating the complexity of the task you are considering.
I fly RC helicopters, and they are amazingly complex machines. The only successful scratch builders I know of are long time heli pilots who have a long history of scratch building other aircraft.

Good idea to wash the engine. It is best to take it to a car wash for the High pressure and all.
Don't worry about the "cover the alternator" that is no longer necessary. leave the engine running and try to avoid direct contact with soaking the ignition, you can stall the engine. but the rest of it soak it then high pressure wash it….
The grease on the engine is actually bad for it as it traps in heat…Go take care of that car. I wish more people did.
