R/C Hobby batteries for Heli.?

I was told that a new type of Hobby batteries, for Helicopters and Cars, more advanced than LiPo and NiMH are now available. They have no residual memory effect. They can fully discharged and still can be recharged (unlike LiPo batteries who must never fully discharged). Unfortunately I found no info or hints after several google searches. Can anyone suggest?
I have checked at "Harbor Freight"?

But I am not looking for regular rechargeable batteries, I am looking for Hobby batteries, to replace LiPo ones

Have you tried the replacement battery packs at Harbor Freight? They may have what you need...Just buy a battery pack open it (moto-grinder) un solder the wires and wah lah...batteries...
