And normally I wouldn't pay a premium for something like this, when I know that I can get the same thing elsewhere for MUCH MUCH less. But, my wife likes pink, and I was in a bit of a rush, so I just ordered these, with the assumption that “they are just USB extension cables, how could they not work?”. I had no idea how wrong I could be. The mino absolutely will NOT fit into these cables. I have emailed Flip support, with no response so far. This is ridiculous, it's just USB, this shouldn't be that hard.

You'll be able to use Kinect with any Xbox 360 model, it's just you'll need an extra SCART socket. The newest 360 model – the one referred to as the 'xbox 360 slim' simply has an input for this.
