Is The AH 64 Apache Longbow still the world's top combat helicopter?

there are some awesome combat choppers around the world, is the Apache still best of the best??

The AH-64D with its recently upgraded sight (MTADS) is the best attack helicopter in the world.

The only thing that comes close is the Marines newly upgraded AH-1Z. It can carry the same weapons as the Longbow and the sight is about as good.

Either one is better than the best competitor, the Eurocopter.

How do I become a combat chopper pilot?

I'm currently a junior in high school and I want to become a pilot for a combat helicopter. Preferably a strike chopper, like the Apache or Cobra. I was wondering what the requisites would be and what it would take to become a pilot.

The biggest prerequisite would be Join the military...LOL

But seriously, you should talk to a military recruiter and tell him/her what you want to do and they will give what the requirements are, classes, degrees, physical requirements, etc. on what you will need to become a pilot.
