Charge Pack

do you have to have the play and charge kit and the rechargeble battery pack to charge you xbox 360 controller?
i want to buy something to recharge my controller
I've just tried it. Yes, you MUST use the rechargeable battery pack that comes with the plug 'n play kit, otherwise, no dice.

When you buy a pack of solid color balloons from Party City, do they charge you to have them blown up?
My friends wants to just buy a pack of yellow balloons and have them blown up (helium) and wants to know if Party City will charge her to do that.
Thanks!
i think just not that much

A) The Arcade Elite both come with HDMI (The arcade requires you to buy a HDMI cable, the elite comes with one) older white editions come with HD Component cables. B) No xbox that I know of comes with the wired controller. Every one of them comes with wireless as the standard. The play and charge kit comes with a cable which basically turns it into a wired controller, meaning it can play without the charge pack, and with it. C) I can mute everyone on xbox live, except my friends, all at once. I’ll take that over Playstation home any day. I can also set up a “party” with all my friends, and talk to them regardless of what game their playing, something you can’t do on the PS3 (yet).

I suspect you probably don't want to read ebooks on it. There's a reason e-ink was invented – eye strain. The Kindle/Sony reader/etc may be a single purpose device, but it's really really good at what it does. And the battery lasts long enough that I don't need to charge it (or pack a charger) on a week long business trip.
The main thing I don't like about the iPad is its very tabletiness: you'll end up holding the damn thing so it's at the right viewing angle, and it's too big to hold for a length of time. You can't just rest it on your lap as the viewing angle is wrong and you'll get a crick in your neck besides. The keyboard will be about as good as the one on your phone – suitable for tweets for not for say, writing a blog post.
I freely admit I
