Specifically-How are the "terrorists" going to get here if we leave Iraq?

I want to address this and ONLY this question. Please, no ruminations about blaming "libs" or "weak defense" or anything about 9/11.
If you think that the 'terrorists' will come here to attack us - how will they get here? Airplane, Boat, Car, Camel, how???

General Smedley Butler raised this same question in regards to the Nazis in WWII. The argument was that we would fight them over there so that they wouldn't make their way here and spread communism. However, at that time, the Nazis had no Navy and there were very few planes that could make a trip from Germany to the US without having to refuel for it's return flight. So it's not like we'd let them refuel here or if they had a Navy we'd let them use our ports. There was a very slim chance of Nazism/ communism spreading to the US.
